Profile
Andy advises business owners on all matters of finance, tax, business improvement and exit strategies. He has been helping business owners to improve financial performance, operate in a more tax efficient way and protect their business and key assets for over 25 years.
Having spent three years working as a geologist in Venezuela he joined Deloittes as a trainee accountant where he spent 6 years working in audit and corporate finance. He then spent a further 4 years working in industry at finance director level prior to designing and building a Chartered Accountancy practice.
Whilst establishing the accountancy practice Andy realised the additional added value that could be applied to owner managed business using financial planning solutions. The firm worked closely with a firm of Corporate Financial Planners during which time Andy became a Chartered Financial Planner, being one of the few Chartered Accountants in the country to be dually qualified.
He then started a Financial Planning Business specialising in the needs of Business Owners. Both firms operate seamlessly to provide first class tax and accountancy advice whilst enabling business owners to understand, achieve and maintain their lifestyle.
Andy is married with three children. He is a keen mountain biker having ridden most of the major UK trails. Other hobbies include squash, swimming and running.
